Charlie Finn’s debut single was done in one day. Seriously.

Charlie had been hassling me to come into the studio to try out some songs, and I kept putting it off. I wish I hadn’t — he’s a true talent. We did some amazing work that day, including all the guitars, all the drums and all the other parts.

My favourite moment of the whole process was the guitar solo. Charlie, laid back in his chair, just did this cool as hell, one take wonder, emotive guitar solo straight from the heart — and it even involved him tweaking the delay at the end!
