This was a big one; this feature film about Australian musician and pioneer Helen Reddy took up 5 months of my life.

I had to create 6 different bands for 6 different scenes, ranging from 4-piece Jazz Club-style bands recreating her early days, to a 31-piece band and orchestra sections for the recreation of her huge MGM moment. 

My favourite moment in the production of the film was the multiple-band rehearsal day when it all came together. It was magic to see some of Sydney’s best musicians not miming, but playing the music of Helen Reddy - with the charts I painstakingly wrote!
