Jamey Foxton - Confessions of a Love in Twilight

Recording engineer.

Jamey is such a pleasure to work with. He always has such a well executed plan, and is organised down to every aspect of what will be happening on the day — often that’s a red flag for not very good music, but not in this case!

Jamey’s brand of country/gospel/crooner style has been refined over time, and he isn’t afraid to take risks either, like recording orchestral instruments.

This was one of the songs from a batch that he recorded with me in 2024, and there’s more that he did with his partner Lucy Sugerman.

My favourite moment of the process was recording the orchestral instruments and hearing them all come together at the end of the day.
