Musician - Guitar and Bass

Here begins my journey in onstage miming. Thankfully film production companies don’t just get anyone, but sometimes they throw us musicians in the deep end — more on that later.

I mimed guitars and basses in the hit TV show’s end-of-season New Year’s Eve scene that takes the characters from 1969 into 1970. It was a huge 3 days of filming, spent with some of Sydney’s best musicians.

My favourite moment of the filming was when they threw a new song in that they had not told me about. Incredible musical director, Cameron Bruce, yelled the chords at me without being seen by the camera.
