I spent many years performing with this beautiful human, Luke O’Shea. He’s one of the special ones — just look at his dedication to respecting the First Nations People of this land called Australia we live on.

Whilst I peeled away from performing live and headed into the studio world, Luke kept up his craft and kept winning award after award.

Luke entrusted me to record his vocals for his album Different Drum, and when the sessions started I remembered why I loved him and his music so much — he is a true storyteller.

My favourite moment of the whole process was spending time with Luke again and delving deep into his beautiful stories.
