Production, recording and mix.

This is one of 4 songs we worked on that was recorded at the incredible Frying Pan Studios, inside MONA museum. The studio and manager, Chris, are among the best in the country, not to mention it’s home to an antique recording console (EMI REDD.17) that The Beatles used.

My favourite moment of the whole process was at the end of the first day of recording. Due to our valiant efforts in pre production, we had setup and got going, tracked the beds to 3 songs and felt like the tones we captured represented the band.

I’ve never had such a smooth session, it should also be noted Anna, Max and Archer are brilliant musicians.
