Sydney artist Lola Scott and I used to write on a weekly basis, We’d write for her, we’d write with others — it was a great amount of output. I remember going to a show at Oxford Art Factory and she played 6 songs we’d written that night.

Take Me Back was definitely a frontrunner in the packet of songs. I had a thrilled co-writing, co-producing and recording it with her.

My favourite moment of the process was crafting the initial song with Alex. We got it to a great point that built the foundation for the final idea.
