Mikhail came to me with a burning desire to make an album, to show the world his beautiful music.

M. Hofmann has a big time vibe. It’s all about tone, great poetry in lyrics, feeling the groove and diving deep into the right instruments for the part.

Mikhail, Charlie Finn and I opened the door to making an album that was hanging about in Mikhail’s head.

My favourite moment of the process was when Mikhail and I were mixing the record on an old Neve Console and we’d make a bounce then take a walk around Surry hills and listen on our headphones to approve it.
