For the second EP, Sydney rock/blues quartet Yendys came back to rinse and repeat what we had done on the first EP — but this time they were more prepared, had dialled in their songwriting and pre production process, and frankly (Sorry Simon) they had a better drummer.

I love working with this band, they are a bunch of really good friends who make uniformed decisions together, and they ignore the trends around them.

My favourite moment of the process was finding the right tempo for this song. It’s got a deep pocket, and the tempo has to be just right. I also was thrilled by the guitar work on this track.
